OmahaLine

Privacy Policy

Overview

OmahaLine stores a limited amount of user, session, and product-usage data in order to run accounts, persist research activity, and understand how the product is being used. This page describes what data is stored, where it is stored, and how it is used.

Accounts And Sessions

OmahaLine supports Google sign-in backed by Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, the app stores a secure session cookie so protected pages and APIs can verify your session.

Data Stored On Our Servers

OmahaLine stores account and product-state data in Cloud Firestore. Depending on how you use the app, that may include:

Local Browser Storage

OmahaLine also uses your browser's localStorage for lightweight client-side preferences, reading state, and anonymous visitor analytics IDs. This data stays on your device unless you later sign into an account that persists state on the server.

Product Metrics

OmahaLine records internal usage metrics such as login page views, session counts, essay views, anonymous visitor activity, and aggregate company-interest signals. These metrics are used for product analysis and internal reporting. OmahaLine does not use third-party advertising trackers or sell this data to advertisers.

AI-Generated Content

Investment essays and screening summaries displayed on this site are generated by artificial intelligence models. Account and product-state data is stored by OmahaLine to operate the service, but OmahaLine does not use your browsing activity to retrain public AI models.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
